Sir William Haley once stated
"Education would be much more effective if its purpose were to ensure that
by the time they leave school, all boys and girls would know how much they
do not know, and be imbued with a lifelong desire to know it."
My goal is to continue to work in
an environment to promote life long learning and ensure learning is taking
place among children, as well as the adults. As an administrator it is
necessary to help foster an environment that promotes life long learning,
citizenship, achievement, respect and responsibility. Such a task is
not easily undertaken. It requires the cooperative effort; that of
administrators, teachers, parents, children and society.
Accountability is the key with respect to education. Each of the
aforementioned groups can be seen as a link, without which, the chain can
easily be broken. It is the administrator's job to assure that support
exists among these links.
